AFTER GREAT PAIN

When the loved one is ripped from our universe, whether in death, loss or heartbreak, we do not experience their absence as nothingness, as their simply not-being-there. Rather, we experience the absence of all modes of relation as painfully revelatory of the one relationship upon which they are founded — the personal relationship, which may be accessed through the physical, the sensual, the temporal, the spacial, and all the rest, but ultimately transcends each of these modes by fathering-forth the very possibility of their existence. Absence strips relation to its core. All we have left, when the loved one is absent, is the very person of the loved one, terribly inaccessible, but painfully present nonetheless...” Marc Barnes

"CHIQUITA EQUINOCCIO"
TEASER

"It stays within us, because we've lived it."
To exist in a place where one adores, but progression remains prevented. Reality distorts itself. Morbidness and sexuality becomes exaggerate and adolescence is continuous as violence and rage grow. Circumstances disfigure due to the inability to alocate these aspects to their rightfull place. Switching contexts is tried and failed because of the necessity to abandon and ditatch itself from its habitat. Reluctant and stubborn minded, a new beginning is taking place.
"Chiquita Equinoccio"¨ submerged as a result of a common interest held by both Irene Gimenez and Joel Javet. This shared interest was to find a style of movement inspired by Spanish folklore, traditions, gestures and general life approach. The aim is to obtain a grounded form of movement whilst maintaining true to its origin, leaving conventionality aside.
